BLACKBOY LANE

Blackboy Lane was a very unique project, it was a lovely 1600's farm cottage that had been adapted with lots of small extensions over a number of years, it needed full modernisation and a lot of restoration to make sure that the character of the original property was retained and not diminished by the new works. With a stream running underneath the new extension it presented a lot of challenges in both design and construction. The final outcome was a brand new modern extension flooded with natural light, using reclaimed materials so that it was sensitive to the original house, the Yoga pod was added later with the landscaping linking all the elements together.
