Converting an old barn into a new modern high tech home, combing new technologies such as underfloor heating through the entire ground floor and mechanical heat source recovery, there was no expense spared when trying to make this old barn as efficient as possible. The team also added a brand new first floor inside the barn, involving some clever engineering and large steels, the final result meant that the organisation of spaces within the house could be changed to suit the requirements of the clients. The all new front elevation is sensitive to the heritage of the Barn, with the new green Oak front porch making a bold statement and transforming the Barn giving it the statement entrance it always deserved.
